How to Have a Heart for God and a Concept for Business

How to Have a Heart for God and a Concept for Business

When we start talking about having a heart for God and a concept for business, we shift into what I like to call kingdom mindset for the women of faith in business. There’s something special when a woman of God uses her God-given and inspired abilities to not only change other lives but her own as well. What typically happens, though, is confusion begins to set in with understanding how to honor and serve God through owning a business. It often goes deeper than using scripture as a tagline or adding the Christian title to your business. And that’s the balance we’re going to talk about below.

How to have a heart for God and a concept for business.

How to Have a Heart for God

I want to break up this post into two main points so we don’t continue fueling any confusion. While the two work hand-in-hand, I think it’s important to visit each concept separately. As Jesus-believing womenpreneurs, we all know how important it is to delight ourselves in the Lord

Psalm 37:4 lays it out for us plainly by showing what happens when we choose to delight in Him. There isn’t any catch and there are no hoops to jump. The key is to know what our desires are and to make sure they align with God’s will for lives. When these things don’t align, that’s when we question God and wonder why things aren’t going as we expect them to.

The truth of the matter is having a heart for God is pretty practical. We can develop this characteristic by:

  • Finding peace and fulfillment in the Lord.
  • Trusting that He will lead, guide, and direct you (especially in business).
  • Making Him the head of all we say and do.
  • Serving others to best of our ability.

Each of these are also needed to have a successful business. In fact, they can be seen as part of the very foundation and core concept. Speaking of which…

delight and desires masterclass

How to Have a Concept for Business

I’ve had many clients struggle with the idea of actually being a business owner. I always remind them that they are so much more because they are the co-owner of their business. You may be wondering how a co-owner can be more than an owner. When you see God as the ultimate owner of your business, then that moves you to the co-owner seat. And what better partner to have in business than Heavenly Father Himself?

I believe this is the first and most important concept for businesses to understand. This invites biblical principles to run your business versus worldly ones. Your temptations to deviate will be met with the Word of God and the desire to please Him instead of the world.

Once you understand that concept, all other ones will begin to align. You’ll begin to:

  • Seek clarity around your calling.
  • Be clear about your program, services, and product offerings.
  • Serve genuinely and authentically.
  • Stay connected and visible with your clients.
  • Be confident in your decision-making and goal-setting.

These are just a few examples, but some of the most important ones to note.

Combining a Heart for God with a Concept for Business

Now that we’ve talked about the two separately, let’s look at them collectively. As a womanpreneur, you may also be a mom, a homeschooling mom, working a part-time or full-time brick-and-mortar job, or a number of other things. None of these have to hinder you in your path to becoming a woman of faith in business… let alone, a woman of faith in a co-partnered business with God.

What most women of faith in business need is accountability, mindset mastery, and brand visibility. Some of these terms may sound foreign or perhaps you’re already involved in working on these aspects. I’ll be the first to tell you that no matter how many years you’ve had a business, the workaround in these areas is never done.

It’s more of a rinse and repeat kind of cycle. You’ll gain the confidence to run a cohesive business that is balanced with other areas of life, confidently speak to your ideal client, and clearly communicate solutions.

This is why I’ve started Mindset Mastery Vault with an Inner Circle Coaching Call. I love meeting with a small collective group of women and pouring into them on a monthly basis. We tackle things that would otherwise keep you stuck in your current position and instead catapults you toward reaching your goals.

Training Vault vs. A Course: Which One Is Your Best Fit?

Training Vault vs. A Course: Which One Is Your Best Fit?

Choosing between a training vault or course, how do you know which one is your best fit? Google ways to boost your business and you’ll surely find results with courses, training vaults, coaching sessions, and the like. While all these are good things to consider, we should have a discussion about which one is actually best for you. Below, I go into detail about the differences (similarities) between a training vault and a course. Then, I’ll help you identify which one is the best choice to help grow your business.

How to choose between a training vault or course.

Why choose either one to begin with?

If there’s one saying that’s proven to be true time and time again, it’s that you must get into a position of investing in yourself and your business in order to see the best return on investment. Simply put, what you pour into you and your business will eventually come out and affect your products, services, and clients.

I personally create all of my signature products and services around helping my clients reach their full potential, visibly see their next, and take immediate actions toward it. But if I’m not working on this for myself and actively walking it out, how can I genuinely help my clients? My advice to you is to start making room for business-boosting investments like courses, training vaults, and coaching sessions.

What is a Training Vault?

In a nutshell, a training vault sounds exactly like what it’s called. It is typically a vault filled with a variety of training angled around the chosen pillars of the person’s brand who’s offering it. In my case, my training vault is positioned around several key pillars with mindset, clarity, and positioning is a few.

Training vaults can also house a number of exclusive resources. For example, the Mindset Mastery Vault gives members access to 10 modules, over 12 workbooks, an inner healing and EFT tapping call, a private Facebook group, and special discounts on other programs, courses, and products.

Overall, a training vault is a good fit if you’re already on fire for your business and looking to keep it ignited. It’s also perfect if you:

  • Want to move past any blockages hindering real business growth.
  • Are looking for more of a short-term program/service.
  • Need to make quick adjustments to your business and strategies.
  • Enjoy working within a virtual group setting.
  • Are ready to do the tasks necessary to bring about change in your business.

What are the benefits of taking a course?

A course may often be seen as something equivalent to a training vault; however, they can be quite different. A course, depending on the creator, is typically offered in a self-paced format. This means once you’ve purchased the course, it’s up to you to work through it. You’ll also be responsible for implementing the tools taught in it.

Unlike a training vault, which would normally give you access to a variety of topics, courses are generally geared toward one particular area of focus. The modules, workbooks, and other resources are geared toward the specific point of interest.

Some coaches offer additional perks with their courses such as one-on-one coaching, but this isn’t too common in the course world. They are usually created to provide better flexibility with your schedule.

Courses may be the best fit for you if you’re looking to boost your business in one key area. They should also be considered if/when you need to:

Final Thoughts

There are many avenues to take when wanting to boost your business and a training vault and/or course are two specific ways I highly recommend looking into. They each have their own uniqueness and depending on your current needs, one is bound to be a great fit. If you’d like assistance with choosing the best option, let’s hop on a quick discovery call!

The 3 C’s of Visibility

The 3 C’s of Visibility

Let’s talk about the 3 C’s of visibility. Being visible in your business is absolutely necessary, but it can often be seen as a difficult task. This doesn’t have to be the case at all! In my thinking about how to make it as simple as possible, I’ve broken it down into what I call the 3 C’s.

The 3 C's of visibility.

The 3 C’s to Visibility

The 3 C’s to Visibility: Clarity

It’s so important to understand your packaging, especially when it comes to visibility. As a business owner, you have the luxury of creating whatever you want to the capacity you desire. However, in all your creating, I genuinely believe that having a signature package is super important. It is from your signature package that you can begin to roll off other little products, services, and packages.

Your signature package gives you clarity of what your high ticket offer is and from there, you can create down-sells and other offers leading up to that one. All too often, what ends up happening is women offer way too many options, services, and packages that don’t quite clarify what it is they are doing and how they can actually help their clients.

It’s important to get clarity on what you’re offering, what solutions you can provide to clients, and how that will look when rolled out into the world.

Boldness in Visibility: Confidence

Confidence is something that starts the moment you create whatever you’re going to use to put your business and offerings out there, especially with onboarding. Be clear in your process for promoting and onboarding. The last thing you want is for someone to come into your inbox, ready to work with you, yet you’re response is murky and not clear.

How confident you are in that process will speak volumes. Of course, this can be seen in all aspects of how you communicate with potential clients. From sending a link to scheduling a discovery call, being confident is absolutely necessary.

The truth of the matter is people are going to reach out to you. They are going to show some kind of interest in your business and services. But even then, you have to decide how much of your energy are you going to expel out. How much of yourself are you going to give? This also means asking yourself how confident are you going to be in sticking with the process versus jumping and reacting at everyone that comes into your space?

Another thing to be mindful of is to not let your lack of confidence cause you to create a dissonance in the services you provide. For example, if your high ticket program is $3000, yet you’re not confident enough to ask for it, you’ll end up pitching something less than and not meet the needs of your client.

Conviction

This may not seem like something that’s business-related, but it is. I believe every business should have conviction because it is going to help you stand out among the rest. It is going to help you be more creative and purposeful in what you offer. This includes being so in tune with God that you’ll know exactly what you need to offer. Use your convictions to steer you in the direction of knowing exactly what you need to offer and why.

Having conviction also deals with helping you be genuine in your visibility. It will help you to not fall for the vanity matrix versus being genuine in your business and showing up as such. Conviction will help you be true to who you are and your passions to show up and give your clients a life-changing breakthrough in their life.

Final Thoughts

Running a passion-based business will require you to have clarity, be confident, and have conviction. Overall, this is a mindset that will impact everything that you decide to do in your business. It will affect your visibility and how you show up. You’ll want your strategies and everything you do in your business to be in alignment, and from there you will soar. I’m a walking, talking testimony of this to be true!

What $32 In Your Bank Account Can Teach You About Valuing Your Gifts

What $32 In Your Bank Account Can Teach You About Valuing Your Gifts

What $32 In Your Bank Account Can Teach You About Valuing Your Gifts

I woke up to $32 in my bank account and I was so frustrated! You see I had an account with a pretty decent amount in it close down because of some ignorance on my part. So.. my “pretty decent amount” check was cut and placed in the mail (lala land in my book) on the way to me and my other account had only $32 in it. In that moment, I literally only had $32 to my name … I felt pretty low … like who was I to speak to anyone, who was I to encourage anyone, who was I to be a coach, who was I to be an entrepreneur. I was letting my money define me, I was letting these two digits 3 and 2 tell me what I was capable of; tell me what I was worthy of.
  • I felt like I wasn’t worthy to own a business;
  • I wasn’t worthy to inspire others;
  • I wasn’t worthy to help other women transform their thinking;
  • I wasn’t worthy to help others peel back the layers on their limiting beliefs;
  • I wasn’t worthy to do the energy work that I love so much;
  • I wasn’t worthy to allow God to use me;
  • I wasn’t worthy to write and blog;
  • I wasn’t worthy to motivate and educate others because of these two numbers.
What $32 In My Bank Account Taught MeAdd heading

God kindly reminded me of a day in my makeup business …

A time when it was just makeup and nothing else as part of my brand. I remember a day when I had a makeup gig to do and I only had like $20 to my name but I had to go to the 4 day job and thank God for a full tank of gas, thank God that they feed you while on set, and that when they go from location to location you get in the crew vehicle (that saved me more gas). I had to ask myself when I had $20 in my account did I feel like a less qualified artist, did I do my job worse, or was I less capable artist because of the way the way my bank account looked?? NO not at all. I still received the praise and acknowledgment of doing an amazing job. And to this day I am the preferred makeup artist for this production team. I still had the talent and skill regardless of the $20 in my account and 4 days later after I finished that job they paid me $2,000 in full.

That quick I shifted from an amazing artist with $32 to an amazing artist with $2,000!

Don’t let your $20 mindset stop you from making $2,000. Your worth is not the equivalent of the money in your bank account. Your God-given skills and talents are waiting to be unleashed out into this world for the soul-purpose of serving others and bringing glory to His kingdom. Be a light in the dark places. Be a beacon of hope in the areas of desperation and doubt. Just the same way that my makeup skills don’t disappear overnight, God showed me that I still know how to dig deep with my coaching clients, I still know how to peel back the layers and get to the root of their limiting beliefs, God showed me that he still thought I was worth partnering with creativity, divine inspiration, and divine healing for women who desire to manifest their soul-services into the world.

Let me help you manifest your soul-services into the world! Book a Discovery Session with me here!

And just like that when I learned the lesson literally hours later I had a deposit of $750 hit my account for one of my coaching intensives hit my account just like. God has lessons for us to learn and the quicker we submit and learn them, then he can use us to be a catalyst. An authentic and transparent help to others in our soulful service based business. $32 Bank Account Your service that you bring to the table isn’t based on how much is in your bank account. You’re worth is not tied to money. You are worth so much to the special people that you are meant to serve, they are waiting on you! The amount of money we have the potential to make is connected to our perception of our self-worth. We have to value ourselves first outside of the money, without the money, – $32 in our accounts lol, no titles, no labels.

We need to understand that our talents are valuable to the world

When we get to this point of understanding that we are valuable, we in turn bring value by being who we are, by giving the talents we’ve been blessed with to others, and serving in an authentic way, we operate in a freedom that generates more income, attracts more money, more creativity, and opportunities. We have to know and come to terms with the fact that we deserve to be compensated for our gifts and talents before we can increase our earnings. Clearing the negative energy around not being enough and not being worthy is essential to increasing what we earn.

I’ll do it after I reach Best Seller

I’ll do it after I reach Best Seller

I’ll do it after I reach Best Seller

“You were put on this earth to achieve your greatest self, to live out your purpose, and to do it, courageously.” ― Steve Maraboli, Life, the Truth, and Being Free

Introduction

An amazing opportunity was presented before me. God placed a beautiful woman in my life to share with me that she had the ear of some decision-making people. She was so excited to share some info with them about me and I could have an opportunity to speak at an event. I’ve spoken at about 2 or 3 events 1 physically and 2 virtually. So this opportunity would have been amazing.

Our Feelings and Thoughts Get in the Way

It’s crazy how we have those feeling of anxiety pop up instantly when we imagine stepping out of our comfort zone. I started feeling queasy instantly. I pondered, I also felt a bit of excitement. I started to think about what I would share with God’s beautiful jewels of women. Before the conversation was over I backed down and told her, “You know what, you can wait to tell them about me after I hit Best Seller.” I’ll do it after I reach Best Seller

Why did I care about Best Seller?

I thought I needed:
  • a status
  • some clout
  • some structure
  • something to pitch at the end
This woman cared nothing about my status. She knew my heart, my character, my values and beliefs and she thought I was enough just as I am. I’m sharing this because I believe the same about you. You are enough, your purpose in this life is so rooted in your heart, character, values and beliefs! I remember when a lady asked me did I know what my values were for my life and I was stunned at the hesitation. I couldn’t spit them out?? And I’m not talking about the surface God first, family second, business third. I’m talking about things like:
  • transparency
  • authenticity
  • freedom
  • flexibility
  • expression
  • spirituality
  • creativity
  • love
  • faith
  • commitment
You are enough

I hit Best Seller, Now What?

Surprisingly, Just two days ago I hit not only Best-Seller but International #1 Best seller, in 4 countries!!! Pauses for Celebration!!!! Yes I’m totally stoked but the crazy thing is I don’t feel anymore relieved or prepared to take on this speaking opportunity. I still don’t feel like now is the time. Nothing miraculously changed to make me ready. I don’t feel any different as a person, as a woman, as a coach. I’m still who I am. I wonder to myself what was holding me back from saying YES, why did I tell myself no. SO here’s the thing,  every excuse that you make to why you can’t xyz… and here’s the list. You cant:
  • reach out to a client
  • go to a networking event
  • start a new project
  • engage in your creative calling
  • share your story
  • be consistent with showing up
…is you telling yourself no. It’s so important to do the inner work around these instances when you have told yourself no. I teach my clients how to say yes to themselves now and not only say yes but dig deep on the reasons why they are saying no. I was such a pro at telling myself no and despite this event, I’ve generally gotten a whole lot better about it. But at each new level that you upgrade to, there is a new lesson to work through and learn from so you can continue to grow beyond where you can imagine. I’ve totally learned from that lesson and I’m saying Yes today, not only to this speaking opportunity but to collaborations and so much more!!

Are you ready to say yes to yourself and your Purposeful business? Book a Discovery session with me here!

Why do we tell ourselves no?

Have you ever thought of the reasons why you say no to yourself? Here’s some reasons why:
  • You get nervous
  • You start feeling sick
  • You’re too cautious
  • You figure you don’t know enough
  • You’ve got to be perfect first
  • You may talk, teach, and coach around non-conventional subjects
  • You think people may not be interested
  • they might judge you
  • It would feel awkward standing in front of such a large group of people
  • what if you ramble
  • how would you stay organized
  • You think, “Oh not me… I’m not good enough for this opportunity, who am I to stand before these women”.

Conclusion

I’m sure if not all ….most of these thoughts and emotions popped up for me too. Each one of your thoughts and emotions are attached to other memories and experiences as well. That’s why it’s so important to address your feelings and peel the onion back on your emotions. As we work through aspects of fear, doubt, and insecurities related to a particular event we begin to tear down the destructive intensity of other thoughts and emotions that affect all areas of our lives. I’m working on this new level and I’m so ready to see where God is taking me and you next! I want to see you flourishing in your calling in your purpose, taking action and taking risks on you! Don’t allow status, accolades, certificates, and acknowledgments to stop you from standing up and speaking your truth!
